DYNA Youth Ambassador Program

The DYNA Youth Ambassador Program is open to emotionally healthy young people afflicted with dysautonomia conditions who wish to:

  • Support other youth via our private Internet Forum.
  • Turn a time of crisis into a time of growth, strength, and meaning.
  • Have a positive attitude in spite of medical obstacles.
  • Discover the healing power of helping others.
  • Improve their understanding of the issues that relate to improved health and well-being.
  • Represent childhood dysautonomia conditions in an un-selfish, dignified, responsible, respectful manner.
  • Promote positive awareness, education, care and support for the DYNA community.
  • Increase their ability to bounce back from a tough time by building coping skills.
  • Celebrate life.

Membership to the DYNA Youth Ambassadors Program comes with rewards and obligations. Our organization has stringent privacy policies and strict Internet safety rules.

Please note that all applicants must have an official dysautonomia diagnosis in order to join DYNA. Written confirmation from your physician's office may be requested.

DYNA is not qualified to serve individuals with dysautonomia as secondary to other medical conditions (ie: mitochondrial disease, chiari malformation, diabetes mellitus). These individuals should contact organizations specifically for their primary condition.

DYNA will not accept or retain emotionally unstable individuals.

DYNA's mission is specifically geared toward programs, materials, and resources for the promotion of childhood and young adult dysautonomia conditions.

DYNA follows a strict membership interview procedure for youth Internet safety reasons.
