DYNA's Korny Little Story of Inspiration
There is a very unique and rare breed of High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs. Most people don't know about these wonderful gentle spirited frogs. They are not the run of the mill regular green frogs that you always see - they are beautiful, fair, often translucent frogs. Sometimes they are so translucent and fragile looking that people are afraid of them. However, they are much stronger than they appear, and they are actually a very resilient and determined species.
There was a special organization established to protect these unique frogs and to promote awareness of them. This organization is called DYNA and it works very closely with physicians and others who specialize in this rare breed of High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs. The people in this organization are working hard to help the whole world learn more about these special creatures.
Most of these frogs have very long legs so they jump much higher than normal frogs do. They often find themselves in quite interesting places. They are quite a talented group. Most of them are females but they do have a few exceptional male frogs in the bunch too. Learning about these magnificent frogs can be very rewarding and inspiring.
Unfortunately, these frogs have a illness. Because of this, they sometimes experience symptoms such as heart rate problems and blood pressure problems and they have to fight very hard to live in this world. They also don't tolerate the heat very well. Between their intolerance to heat, their constant dizzy spells, and their high jumping antics they often get completely and totally exhausted. Their little hearts get so worked up that they can literally pass out mid jump! Sometimes they have to lie down right where they are or else they faint. Sometimes they literally spend days laying around exhausted and storing their energy in hopes of a good sunny frog hopping day. Most people have no idea what these frogs have to go through just to hop. But, the High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs want people to know that having an illness does not mean they have a weakness. They are strong, not weak!
Every July, people find these beautiful unique High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs lying all over the place as they gather at their summer meeting place. One bright sunny day a couple of the High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs were feeling really good and having a great frog hopping day so they just went frog crazy!
They hopped all over the place and got totally and completely lost! They ended up at a local farm jumping around like a bunch of maniacs in the dairy barn. They got very hot and were thirsty and one of them found a huge milk vat that the farmer had put the milk into. The High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs got the bright idea to go swimming and cool off and get a nice drink of milk at the same time.
So, they all jumped into this huge vat of delicious cold milk. At first it was great fun but over time they got very tired and the next thing you knew they were totally exhausted and could not jump out of the milk vat. They kept trying and they kept trying but no matter what they did they couldn't get out of that darn milk vat. They didn't know what to do! If they stopped swimming and jumping they would surely drown! They were scared, they were exhausted and they thought they were going to die. They couldn't keep it up anymore - but they really didn't have a choice. If they wanted to live they had to keep jumping. Some of the frogs wanted to quit but the stronger ones told them "Keep jumping, keep jumping, and don't give up, EVER!" So the darn High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs kept right on jumping! Sadly, some were fainting and sinking to the bottom.
They all knew that they just had to find a way out of that vat of milk! Every one of them was in a panic by this point. But…the stronger ones kept jumping all the harder to encourage the rest. Hour after hour those darn High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs kept on jumping. They were a very determined bunch! They did not give up! The ones that sank to the bottom came back up to the top and saw the strength and determination of their friends, and that gave them tremendous hope. Together they all kept jumping. It took a very, very long time but eventually all the jumping started to pay off and finally those High Jumping Dizzy Dysautonomia Frogs turned that darn vat of milk into butter and they all escaped and lived happily ever after!
In DYNA we always keep hopping and we never give up!
