The purpose of DYNA is to facilitate change: change in improving the lives of our DYNA members and their families; change in the community-at-large, to foster awareness and a better understanding of dysautonomia conditions; and change in the future, to encourage compassionate care, efficient diagnosis, and reliable treatment of childhood dysautonomia.

The Dysautonomia Youth Network of America, Inc. (DYNA) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving young people that are diagnosed with various childhood dysautonomia conditions. These young individuals may experience isolation from their peers due to the impact of their conditions. They must often make dramatic lifestyle changes in the prime of their teen years. Dysautonomia conditions can be traumatic, stressful, and life changing for the afflicted individual and the family of those afflicted.

DYNA provides its youth members with a support and outreach network that is focused on providing positive peer support. We strive to heighten awareness of dysautonomia conditions within the pediatric and the adolescent medical communities. We aim to promote compassion, support and understanding of the various challenges that youth with dysautonomia conditions face within society.

There are numerous dysautonomia conditions. Most of our DYNA members are diagnosed with conditions such as: Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Neurally Mediated Hypotension (NMH), Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS), Vasovagal Syncope, Generalized Dysautonomia, Birth Dysautonomia, Non-Familial Dysautonomia, and Post-Viral Dysautonomia.

Membership to DYNA is free to young people diagnosed with a form of dysautonomia. We have established unique programs to help address the various needs of our members. Please feel free to email us with any questions. Click the Join DYNA link if you wish to join.
